  1. I agree DO NOT ORDER FLOWERS FROM troysflorist.com !!! I placed my order on 3/24/2014 for delivery on 3/31/2014. The flowers never arrived. I contacted Troy and they said their records show that the flowers were delivered, but they would check with "their driver" and get back to me. The next day they said they would "redeliver" the flowers. Flowers arrived 4/2/2014 but WERE NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURE on their website. The difference was night and day, flowers that were ordered from the websites picture were large, colorful, and full. Flowers that arrive were tiny, dull, and sparse. I complained BIG TIME and they REFUSED to redeliver what I ordered, saying they were allowed to substitute flowers when necessary. I asked them for a refund, and they said NO. I finally went to my credit card company and disputed the charges, and the Credit Card company credited my account.

It is hard to talk to anyone at Troy, but I was able to get the phone number of the manager/owner in New Jersey (no they are not local as they say they are). His name is Michael Ryan and the parent company's name is AMERICAN ROSES (732) 535-8539.

Do yourself a favor, and do not do business with them!

    1. Unfortunately, I placed an order with Troy's florist for Mother's Day and received a poorly written email stating that they do not deliver to the area anymore. The email states I'll receive a refund in two days. I began to look for more florists online and just discovered all these complaints against Troy's Florist. Now I am afraid that my credit card has been compromised. Did you have any problems with your credit card account after this order?

  2. I agree , they are scram florish, first I find them on the web site Troysflorist.com. I ordered 1 Morning Melody PM for delivery date 05/09/2014 $67.95 each, total cost $67.95

  3. I wish I had seen all of these complaints prior to ordering from Troys. I never got a delivery confirmation and the flowers were never received. I emailed with no response and called. They said the driver is supposed to notify them if they didn't ship the flowers out and that they would have to get a hold of him and call me back. She asked if I wanted them to go out on the soonest truck and she would "upgrade" them free of charge whatever that means. I guess I'll just have to wait and see how this plays out ... If they are not delivered, I will be disputing the charge on my credit card.

  5. I ordered flowers for my parents' anniversary to be delivered on 12/26 through Troy's florist/Americana Roses (they are the same company). Today 12/30 is the first time I could even get any kind of answer at the number on Troy florists' website (1-888-414-3800). The answer to the call was a series of questions to win a cruise & NEVER led to a customer service rep! You cannot skip the survey & it hangs up when you complete it! I then decided to call Americana Roses in south Plainfield New Jersey because the charge I had made with Troy's florist appeared on my bank statement under Americana Roses' name. Americana's number is (1-888-731-2400). I was able to speak to them about my troy's order by using my order reference number that came in my troy's confirmation email. They claimed my flowers had not been delivered because the florist they passed my local order to were still closed 4 days after my order (Troys came up at local to my area btw but it's not true). They promised a refund but I still feel this florist is most likely an online scam. They never called to tell me there was a problem with my order (5 days later) & I was never able to contact them at the number on their OWN site. Hopefully this helps stop someone else from ordering flowers from Troy's florist!

  6. I ordered flowers to be delivered on Saturday 1/10/15 and they were not delivered. I sent an e-mail to the company and received no response Neither I nor the recipient received any call indicating there was a problem. At the close of day Monday, (4:30pm) flowers were delivered, but they were not what I had ordered. I had ordered 2 sprays of roses, One with pink roses and one with lavender roses, along with lavender filler flowers, and in a lavender teacup with saucer.l Recipient received six pink roses and some baby's breath, along with a ugly cup and saucer that I would never have chosen if I had been given the chance. I emailed the company on Monday with no response again. On Tuesday I was offered 15% refund, which was unacceptable to me. I emailed them again and have heard nothing back. Their website indicates they are local and advise they will deliver same day. Neither is true! do NOT use this scamming company.

  7. THIS IS A SCAM. This business is associated with a phone number that is being used nationwide to bill people for floral deliveries that never take place. It is also being associated with www.troysflorist.com, which is a website that has fictitious addresses across the country. If you make a purchase through www.troysflorist.com, it will appear on your credit card with this address and this phone number. We made a purchase through this website for a Missouri address, and this company does not have a location there.

Again - your credit card bill will say AMERICANA ROSES - 732-535-8539,NJ - even though the company you purchased it through is www.troysflorist.com, which, if you search through the BBB, is associated with numerous fictitious addresses across the country.

  8. Ticked Off
I also agree. DO NOT order from Troys. I ordered flowers, was assured they would be delivered the same day. My payment was happily accepted by them. I called to verify they had been delivered and my friend said there was no delivery, no phone call, nothing. When I called Troy's Customer Service the following morning my call was answered by a woman who sounded as if she couldn't be bothered to help me. After checking she came back on the line to tell me "There was a problem. Your order didn't get made. We refunded your money". PERIOD. No apology, no explanation, no inquiry to see if there was anything they could to rectify the issue, no attempt to contact me in any way. I will be monitoring closely for my refund. I wish I had seen these reviews before I ever called them. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS with this unprofessional outfit. I'm surprised they are still in business if this is how they treat their customers.

  9. This is a terrible rip off. Ordered flowers for my mother in law for mothers day and got an email ON MOTHERS DAY that the company they farmed the order to didn't deliver. They said my money would be refunded in 3 days. Guess I will never see that money again. Is this company stealing card numbers or just the money paid for the flowers? I am worried about my card now.

  10. I wish I had seen all of these reviews prior to placing an order for Mother's Day. I placed an order for SAME DAY DELIVERY on 5/6 since that is advertised throughout their website as a huge perk. I thought that by ordering a few days before mother's day and not having them delivered on Mother's Day would be ideal. Flowers never arrived. After realizing they never arrived Thurs night, I called and they said because they were really busy for Mother's Day and were low on fresh flowers, they would make the arrangement larger and with a new shipment of fresh flowers the next day due to the inconvenience. Again, no delivery. I had to call to follow up and they stated that my order was showing as CANCELLED. I am hoping a refund goes through appropriately and will NEVER DO BUSINESS with this company again.

  12. I, too ordered flowers for Mother's Day--a deluxe version of the Imagination Bloom arrangement with orchids, roses, pink lilies and more--all pink! Naturally they got top dollar which when al was said and done was $126. 20. They contracted out to another florist. It was not even close to the same arrangement. This was on the 5th and it took me 3 emails to finally hear back from someone yesterday (the 15th). I, too, expected them to call, or email me "within seconds". One ought to know when flowers are seasonal, but I would have appreciated a call to advise that the arrangement could not be made. Someone by the name of Rachel Rae (THE Rachel Rae??? Oh no!) responded, asking that I tell them what was wrong and to send a description or photo of the item. I had already sent them a full email outlining my concerns, with pictures and the "recipe" that accompanied the arrangement, which itemizes each component in the arrangement. She offered to give me 40%, and when pressed further, she offered to reimburse 50%. I told them several times, that there are no disclaimers on the web site- nothing about substitutions, special instructions, etc. There is no voice mail system for the number I called. It just rang and rang. This is so unfortunate, because they truly had some lovely products. Unfortunately, when I returned to the page I noticed all the arrangements have been marked down. Now that Mother's Day is over, they are charging what they should have from the beginning. Gouging is just opportunistic and that is a sad testament to the business, though admittedly they are not the only ones who do that. It is truly a shame to read all these reviews. Not a single one is positive. That speaks volumes, but then we know, because it continues. Very unfortunate and downright criminal!
